Sarah's Mail Helper is a private tool...
… to help answer customer email.
What it reads. With Sarah's permission, given through Google's sign-in screen, the tool reads the email in the Boston Handywoman Gmail account. It reads customer messages and Sarah's replies so it can learn which jobs people ask for and how Sarah answers them.
What it does with that. It uses what it reads only to sort new inquiries and to prepare draft replies for Sarah to review. It does not send email and it does not delete email.
Where the information stays. Email is processed on a private computer. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used for any purpose other than helping Boston Handywoman answer its customers.
Google's rules. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Turning it off. Access can be removed at any time from the Google account, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
